We are looking for a Business Development Executive to play an integral role in accelerating our firm’s growth. As part of our highly regarded team at RBN Chambers LLC, the individual will work closely with the firm’s lawyers to initiate, implement, and drive a comprehensive range of business development activities. The role is an excellent opportunity for a diligent and results-oriented business developer who genuinely enjoys marketing work in the legal industry.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Executive, you will report to and support the firm’s Managing Director and also work closely with the firm’s lawyers.
You will assist to initiate, implement and drive business development activities, which include but are not limited to the following: identify and summarise market trends and opportunities for use in client acquisition and retainment; source for and propose new leads or opportunities for the firm to expand existing client relationships and build up its clientele base; research and keep updated on the relevant competition in the industry.
In addition, you will assist to build up the firm’s profile in the market and assist with client management. This includes but is not limited to the following: support the firm’s participation in sponsorships, courses and seminars, memberships; prepare and organise new pitch materials, presentations and other suitable marketing materials for client meetings; respond to initial client enquiries where applicable; update the firm’s website and lawyers’ profiles as and when required; prepare the submissions for rankings in legal publications such as Legal 500, Asia Law, Benchmark Litigation and Chambers 500 and be the key point of contact for the firm in this regard.
Any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the firm’s Managing Director from time to time.

At least two years of prior experience in a sales marketing or business development role preferably with a law firm or professional services firm.
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, law or a related discipline.
Exceptional project management skills with an ability to prioritise deadlines and meticulously execute multiple ongoing projects.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
High competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Keen business acumen and strong analytical skills.
