Accounting For Disputes: Getting The Most Out Of Financial Statements In An Arbitration

Our Managing Director Mr Ramesh Bharani Nagaratnam moderated the Accounting for Disputes: Getting the Most Out of Financial Statements in An Arbitration webinar on 28 July 2020, the first of such sessions offered by SIArb as part of its CPD events.

The webinar was delivered with two distinguished speakers, Mr James Nicholson and Mr Oliver Watts of FTI Consulting Singapore. The session garnered about 45 attendees, including international participants from India, Hong Kong and the UAE.

The webinar shed deeper insights on reading, understanding and interpreting financial statements, and explained the relevancy of financial statements with regard to commercial disputes. Interactive scenario-based questions were also incorporated into the session by the speakers to facilitate a more comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial concepts discussed.
