Yeong Shu Bin
Shu Bin is part of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Warwick and was admitted as an Advocated and Solicitor in Singapore in 2017.
Prior to the joining the firm, Shu Bin was a prosecutor with Singapore Customs, where she dealt with offences under the Customs and Goods and Services Tax (GST) Acts. She prosecuted matters relating to duty-unpaid goods and other customs, trade and GST regulations. In addition, Shu Bin is also experienced in matters concerning the forfeiture of vehicles seized by the Singapore Customs used in the commission of offences.
Shu Bin gained further experience as a prosecutor with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). She is well versed with the Singapore Employment Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and Employment Agencies Act. She prosecuted matters relating to breaches of the relevant employment laws and regulations in Singapore.
Shu Bin also takes a keen interest in family law, which allows her to truly make a difference in peoples’ lives. She enjoys helping people through their difficult times. As part of her training, Shu Bin gained valuable experience in mediation and matters relating divorce, maintenance and personal protection.
Shu Bin is conversant in both English and Mandarin.
